Are Google Flights Refundable?

So, a lot of time, we receive inquiries regarding this question, whether you can get a refund for your Booking if you book them from Google flights or not. Google Flights price Guarantee

So, a few months ago, Google flights have landed this feature called a price guarantee.  We will try to explain it as simple words as possible. So, let's say you begin searching for a flight. Now when you came to google flights for it, you saw the lowest price. But you are still convinced somehow the price could drop even further. Then if the airfare is really cheap, then maybe (not on every route) you will see a badge of price guarantee. Then when you book the specific flight. If you book it, then now what google is saying this? If the prices drop even further then what Google had predicted, then the difference between the expected rate and the fallen price, you will receive the distinction. 

So, in a way, Google Flights do provide flight refunds. However, it only happens when you are booking via their platform as it applies to every other flight booking company. However, right now this feature is on trial mode, but Google may use it permanently.

Third-party Booking refunds

Now, What about those flights, where Google will not give a price guarantee feature. What if you are searching and booking a cheap flight. In this matter, you should know this first. Google is not a booking platform. It merely shows you the flight price. When you want to book, it sends you to a third party booking website, where you can read about it. So, in a way, Google flights are not responsible for flight refund unless it is a price guarantee.
